Chuckarilla

God knows everything He knows what you need and when you need it. God is Awesome. I have been praying for help in our church, for others to be an example, for servants and many more things. God is an answering God, that is for sure. Chuck is some one I went to bible school with and that is pretty much it, that is what I thought. Until I received a call from him telling me that he wants to come up here for a couple of months. God put it on his heart to come up here to serve at out church any way he can possible. He said “God told me to do three things while I am here to Serve, be an example and love others.” I was thrilled, and little shocked.

He has been here for over a little two weeks now. It has been great having him here. He has already been an example to me, I have learned a lot from him. He spoke to the youth last Wednesday it was great. I believe the youth really receive a lot from the message. I think they really like his style, (hopefully not to much) Nay God will help me be creative with them just as Chuck is. God is the Creative one!!

Its exciting God is doing great things at our Church. I am excited to see many more great things not only here, but at other churches. God knows every need our church needs. So I am putting my trust in Him with it all!!

Sisters

I was reading my sisters blog today and i just started crying. It could be because, She being my big sister is having a baby. The sister I grew up with playing George and Martha in Grandpas motor home; the sister I played barbies with. My Best friend. Now she is married and now having a baby. We are growing up, it's a great thing at the same time it's to fast. Did I mention she lives far far away from me. I hope to go see her sometime soon. Sister's are the greatest thing ever. With us growing up having babies (well only her) it's crazy. My younger sister is about to turn 16 it's crazy how time flys. I miss us all living together in out small house; it was a blast. We grow up, we move, we change; however we will always be sisters, no matter how far we are away from eachother or how much we change.

Well I guess this is not my niche....

Well I enjoy blogging. I enjoy typeing about things in my life or thoughts of mine. It's just hard for me to do this. Well it's not hard i just don't think aobut doing it or my mind goes blank. So that is why i haven't blogged in a long time. I want to try to blog more. I will try... Thanks for being faithful with your blogs i enjoy reading them!!

Buddy Truman

While I was in the backyard pulling weeds around our cement patio, I was soaking the ground so it would be easier to pull the weeds. As I did that I happened to flood an animal out of its home. He or she scared me pretty bad popping out from under the patio. At first I thought it was a mouse well it turns out it is a Gopher; a really small gopher. And now we have made it a home. We don’t know really what to do with it. Any ideas?
If you look there is a hole that use to be his home
This is a sign I made to inform anyone to not open the box i covered him in. I didn't want him to get lose. I was leaving for a few mintues and dad would be back in a little while, I didn't want him to open it up and have a little surprise. Later we figured out it was not a mouse but a Gohper so i changed the sign.
Buddy Truman himself
His little home we made for him. Since I flooded his.

Okay so i wrote this post soon after we got back from our retreat. Then i waited to get more picture so i can show you all the fun we had. Well then i got side tracked and blah blah blah so here is what i have so far still no pictures but one. It will do for now.
Devin, Michael, Jared, Jordan, Lizzy, Tori

We did it!!! Our first youth retreat with just our youth!!! The reason it was only with our youth was so we can build relationships with each other and build a foundation as a youth and most importantly with God. We want to build a foundation with the youth then go out and spread the News (meaning Gods word not that we have a great time with eachother)!! We did just that; relationships were built within the group also a newer relationship with God was built in them. Everyone opened up with each other and had a blast! God moved in their lives in those three days. It is just the beginning to this great walk with God. I am excited to see all the great things to come. I am proud to say that God has allowed me to be apart of there lives to speak into there lives. But not only that, I learn from them also. God can use anyone, anywhere, any age. God is so awesome!! Here are some pictures of our super fun trip!!
Pictures to come.....

Like he ever loved me at all....

Ok this post is my feeling right now. I am still trying to move on. God is my strength and i know what i need to do. I know I shouldn't give into my feelings when i know what God says, however i just have to release this so i can process this all. I know those who read this are ones I trust and love. Well any ways I am mad, Frustrated, Hurt and so on. This song is some what how i feel right now. It what i want to tell him. Just Leave now, leave my heart, don't try to do anything. (Like i need to say that I should be palying Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill's song Like we never loved at all Because that is how He is acting.) And what did i do nothing I just loved him and what did i get for that a big fat nothing. Sorry about that i had a moment well anyways thanks for letting me express for this little moment.

My adventure House sitting!!!

A family in our church was going out of town for the Fourth. So they asked me if I would watch there house since they have two dogs, a pond of fish, two turtles and one cat. I of course said yes since I am running low on money due to my surgery plus I like helping others out.

Now when I house sit I like to check the house to make sure that no windows are unlocked, and all doors locked, because I don’t want anyone breaking in. This fear of mine comes from watching too much Law and Order and CSI.

As I was checking the windows I notice that all the windows had PVC piping on the window so even if it did open it was only a little. I still locked all the windows so I thought. Well on Friday afternoon I was at the house letting the dogs out and about to go water the flowers. I went through the back sliding glass door. I unlocked the door, picked up the PVC pipe and just leaned it against the sliding door so not completely removing it well as I went out the dogs followed and then they turned around and almost went in the house but I was not going to let that happen and I shut the sliding glass door and to my dismay the PVC went back into place and for a second I was thinking I was totally locked out. I then remembered that the front down was unlocked.

Now you think I would learn from this, however 6:30am Saturday morning I got up to let the dogs out and well I did the exact same thing. However this was not as easy as the day before. I thought its okay I bet the neighbor has a key to the house, then I remembered I didn’t only lock the door I locked the screen door. Well I walked around the house to the front thinking just maybe I didn’t lock the screen door, well I did. So I started to pray “God help me I have no phone, no shoes, no keys and it’s early. Show me what to do God” I walked to the other side of the house were there is another back door well of course it was lock but to my surprise there was a little window that I did not see when I did my checking from the inside of the house. Now this is not a regular window it is small, really small like 14in long 8 in wide or something like that. I tried the window and to my relief it opened a little so I found some tools to remove the screen. Once the window was open a little I had to find another tool to remove the flashlight off the window so I could open it all the way to reach in and unlock the door. I used a long scrub brush; I believe it is one to wash your car with. Once I got the window opened all the way I had to find something to stand on so I could reach in the window to get to the door unlocked. The garbage can was not sturdy enough so I looked around the garage and found a barrel it was rusted so I put pressure on it to make sure I wouldn’t fall through when I stood on it. It worked Praise God!! I officially broke into the house!! That kind of scared me that means anyone could do what I just did. Then I remember like they would try I am God’s Child no one can hurt me I am protected by my GOD!!!

Well that is my adventure housing sitting!! It was an interesting and unforgettable experience.

How Great is our God?

Do you know how great our God is?? He is so wonderful, great, magnificent, amazing!!!!

I was reading my aunts blog Working in Progress and she wrote about one of her girls Kate. It was amazing to me.

I was blessed to go to China when she was able to receive her first daughter. They are such a blessing both of these girls. I am so thankful that God has given Aunt Beth the ability to have these girl. God works in wonderful ways. He knew exactly that these girls were meant to be the daughters to my wonderful, hardworking, loving, passionate aunt. Some may say the girls our blessed to be with my aunt but really it's my Aunt who is truly, truly blessed to be a proud mommy to Meigan and Kate. I love you all!! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wonderful adventure.

The First Youth Retreat!!!

I almost for got to tell you all. I am so excited to say that my youth and I are going on our First retreat together!! Now we have been to camps and retreats in other places put on by other churches before. But this one is just our youth!!! I am so stoked!!! We have raised around $1190 no one has to pay out of pocket totally awesome!! The reason for this trip is so that we can build relationships with each other but most of all with God. I believe by going on this trip the youth will come out of there comfort zone which then will allow them to open up with each other and build life long friendships with each other and most importantly with God. I know this will not happen all in 3 days; however I do know this will be a great start to show them what it really means to have an unconditional relationship with Jesus. I know God has great things in store for the youth as individuals and as a group. I am excited!! So if you would be praying for our youth so they will open up to what God has for them. Thanks you’re the best!! 2008 the year of new beginnings!!

First day back to work!!

Well it went okay. I worked 4:45am-12pm. I was able to get things done that haven't been done. They let me have a chair back there so I could sit when I needed to or when there were no customers. I tried my best to walk normal and not put all the pressure on my right leg. Well, when I finally came home I sat on the couch for a while, my feet hurt badly. As I sat longer, longer I felt some what better when I got up to walk oh my I thought I was going to fall. My right hip hurt so badly and my knee was a little swollen. What a great first day back!! It will be okay they are having me take tomorrow off but I am back on Thursday. I am okay with it because I need the money. So pray with me that I have a quicker recovery more than ever.

Monday, June 30, 2008

This is to the post i wrote about my youth a while back. These are some of my youth not all of them but when i get a picture of us all i will put it up. As you can tell Tori is in most of these, that is because she was taking most of them. You have to love Tori!!

Recovering!!

This is an old picture because if i show you what it is like with out it you my barf like my sister

I am recovering pretty well from my surgery. I am able to walk better and better everyday. Today I went to my follow up appointment with my doctor and they took my stitches out eww… sick. But at my surprise it wasn’t that bad. I get to go back to work tomorrow which I am kind of glad. I like running the department. It is fun and all the people I meet. I have now experienced having surgery and I hope, well I pray it is my last. The only thing I enjoyed was the break from work and the short little bit of being waited on. But now it is all over and well I am done I want to walk with out a wobble, work out, run, and go down the stairs with out the fear of falling down them. Even though I am complaining it was a success surgery, God is awesome!! I will now be better than ever!!

My Passion for Youth!

Today someone asked me what my passion was. I said Photography but my real passion is Youth. I love Youth. For some odd reason God has given me a desire to love on youth. Though it can be so hard sometimes to help, teach, and love them, I have a desire to reach them any way I can. I want to see God move in every youth not just the ones at my church but the whole city.
I have a passion to have a Youth building for the community. A building that youth can come to and be in a positive atmosphere. I have a possible building in mind it is an old grocery store it is located near a high school and neighborhoods, it’s a great location in the city. I know one day this will come true we will have a building with a diner, game room, stage with theater seating for speakers, and concerts and many more things. The Youth are the future they are young but they can make change. They just have to see it inside of them.

So that is a little over view of my passion. I am young myself but that doesn’t matter. I can just relate to them a little better I guess. I know as I let God use me to speak to them, they will see what God has put inside of them and then they will take the step and say “I don’t care who it puts me with or who it separates me from I am going on with God.”

Update on my Torn Lateral Meniscus

Well tomorrow is the big day!! My surgery on my knee, it is an out patient surgery it should only take about 20-30 minutes long. I am excited to get this taken care of, but at the same time I am a little nervous I have never had surgery before and I have never even broken a bone. So I am not looking forward to some one sticking things in my leg. I know though once it is all done and I am all healed I might be able to wear the shoes I desire to wear like some Stiletto (okay maybe not stilettos). Well that is it for now I will keep you update on how it goes when I am not delirious.

Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me (I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency). Philippians 4:13

Dread is a relative of fear. The devil tempts us with dread to get us to confess fear instead of faith. But 1 john 4:18 says, “There is no fear in love (dread does not exist), but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment and (so) he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love (is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection).”
Enjoy your day, knowing that God loves you perfectly. Don’t dread the hard things that you must do today, because God is on your side and is ready to help you.

It's Memorial Day!

It's a day of remembrance! It’s a day to recognize all those who served in our country so we may have freedom!! I thank all those that served and die for our country! If it wasn’t for them where would we be? Thank you, to all who have served and are still serving.

My Family is....well Amazing!!

I was just sitting here on the computer looking at different blogs, mostly my families. And well you know what, I have the best, loving, caring, fun and funny family in the whole world. I am so glad that God put me in this family. Even though more than half of them I am not even blood related to, but I could care less about that cause it isn't our blood that makes the family its our love for each other. We all have so much fun together when we all can get together at one time. I will tell you about them.
There is my Dad and Mom (Jamie step-mom I hate saying step mom it‘s lame) they are so great. They have helped me through a whole lot. And not only that but they are wise. They don’t do everything for me, they make me do it and learn on my own. Which I think is great. They are both always there to listen to me and put up with my craziness and my sometime kid moments.
Then there is Mom and Jeff. They are also great!! My mom is so loving and caring. Mom is so great I learn a lot form her all the time. Even though I might not spend the most time with her she is always #1 in my heart. I love being around her. And not to mention she is the best cook and baker in the whole world. Jeff is a great step-dad. Rachel and I are his only kids. And he did a great job being a step-dad to us. We all had our moments but I won’t change it for the world.
Now on to the siblings. Who I love so much.
Rachel is the most amazing older sister I have ever had!!! I look up to her so much. Literally she is amazing!!!! As I call here she is “Suzy Home maker” when I brag about her to other I tell them she is better than Martha Sewart. She is far away right now but one day we will be together again.
Jared is the coolest most talented brother in the world!! What to say he is amazing and I love him. He sometimes acts like an older brother and I well, like that. He is mine and all of us girls protector from boys. I love that Little bro and I can wrestle, hockey fight (which I should mention I beat him yesterday). We always have so much fun.
Tori, now she is the awesome little sister, in the world. She also is very talented! She amazing me with her craftiness, and she does so well with kids. She leads the little kids at church and does such a great job. She a great ideas for things. And did I mention she is an amazing soccer player? We have so much fun together also. Now if you get all of us kids together it’s one big party you never know what we will do.
Now on to my wonderful extended family.
I got 5 aunt‘s, 6 uncle’s, 15 cousin‘s, 4 Grandma’s, 2 Grandpa;s 1 Great Grandma, 1 Aunt Barb, and that is probably not counting them all that is only ones I can remember well the ones I actually see a whole lot and know about but we won’t get into that. I love my family they are great!! I can’t stop saying that. Okay I was about to go into them individually but that will take a long time and I need to sleep plus I would hate to leave someone out. I just had to share with you all that I have an awesome family!!! They all know who they are! So if any of you are reading this I love to so much. I am so excited for many, many more years with you in my life. It’s family I love to share happy times, and sad times with. Friend will come and go but my family will always be. Love you!!

For Aunt Beth

This is for my Auntie Beth. I am really bad at posting on here, I even have trouble just getting on the computer. Well my Aunt Beth has asked me several times why i don't post everyday since it is called Everyday is a new day. Well yes everyday is a new day but it doesn't mean i have to post everyday. I would love to post everyday but I don't usally because i don't always know what to put or i don't have time. Well i will tell you the purpose of this blog. I want to tell all that everyday is a new day. That the past is the past. With God you can do anything. I want to encourage others. So that is what i would like to do on this blog. Of course there has to be some goofy stuff on here. Well I love my aunt Beth and she is the greatest, so this is for you aunt Beth plus it is my second post in one day!

A Torn Lateral Meniscus

Well I went to the doctor for my left knee which has been a bother to me for quite some time. I had an EX-ray about two weeks ago, which I knew was a waste of time; and I was right, it showed nothing. So I had an MRI last Tuesday. Today i found out that I have a Torn Lateral Meniscus. It's all good though I looked it up on the Internet my knee should be okay after surgery or physical thearpy it just depends on the damage. However i have a suggestion for eveyone if you ever have anything wrong and you might need surgery don't ever look it up cause it shows picture that totally makes you not want to have surgery. Well anyways i am just glad that i will now have this taken care of and have no more pain i pray. I know it will all work out, God is my healer!!

ALL THING ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD!!

Wow life can sure hit you on the side of the head all of a sudden. I’m not talking about a little pat but a slap so hard it knocks you off your feet. It sure has happened to me in the last month. A month that I wish never happened, but it did. I just keeping telling myself “Today is a new day, week, month.” Romans 8:28 and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Well I love him; I'm head over heals for him and I know I am called according to His purpose. So I’m waiting for that good to happen. I know it will. I am really frustrated right now. In a way I’m appealing to my senses. However my spirit tells me "It's ok, everything is working out. God is your rock, strength, shield, peace, joy, comfort. Trust in God, He is carrying you down this path. No matter what others say or think about this whole thing He is on your side, He is helping you. Luke 12:32. Thinking about it; it is a good thing all this has happen (which you have no idea what I am talking about unless your family. But that is ok. It doesn’t matter what happened. I just want you to know that God can take care of anything. He is here for you. No matter your situation Trust God with it and everything will work out. It might seem like Hell right now but there is peace coming like others say “there is a light at the end of the tunnel.”) Back to what I was saying, I have learned a lot from this whole situation. One thing is now I won’t marry the wrong person. God has opened my eyes up a whole lot. Also all the things I have learned before this situation and after. This whole thing is making me stronger not weaker. That is the one thing you have to choose in your situation is will you let it make you stronger or weaker? Bottom line God loves you so much there is NOTHING God can not handle, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD!!!

Freedom

I took my little sister the other day to go swinging. Now mind you she is 15 years young. I wouldn’t think a 15 year old would randomly want to go swinging and with such passion to do so. At first I kind of did not want to go. However I forced myself up from a nap and went. She kept saying “I can’t wait to swing, because I get butterflies in my tummy.” In my head I was like good for you. As soon as we arrived she ran straight to the swings with such great joy. Of course I took my time walking to the swings but to my surprise it wasn’t because I didn’t want to be there it was the fact it felt good to be there, with the slight breeze in the air and the sun shinny down on me, it felt peaceful. And oh did it feel good to swing again. As I swung I closed my eyes and that is when I felt free. Free from busyness, free from the frustration in my life, free from being an adult. I felt like a kid again. It was great. Yeah it was only for a little bit but it was a little bit that made me feel freedom. I believe everyone needs to have these kind of times in there life, where they can feel free from it all, where they can feel like a kid again. Kids do have it great, no responsibility, no worrying about gossip, money, jobs, etc…. Don’t get me wrong I enjoying being an adult but at times I love to feel the freedom of a kid.
