Proverbs

I am going through Proverbs with some friends of mine in Texas and with My friend her at home. I thought i would share what i have been getting out of with you!
I have gone through 5 chapters as you can see!


Prov. 1

Fear God, don't try and live by the wisdom and knowledge of the world. Only listen to God and godly others for wisdom and knowledge!

Prov. 2

Not only listen to Gods wisdom and knowledge but act upon it. When you do you are on the right path, you are protected in Him. If you don't you are headed for destruction/death.

Prov 3

Give everything to God, He will take care of you. There is Happiness, peace in God. It will give you life if you go by Gods wisdom and not the worlds. It's not our way, not the worlds way but Gods way. There is peace with God there is comfort with God.

One thing that stuck out was V.27, Give good to those whom it is due. When God has told you to do something or give them something do it now. Don't hold there blessing back, or what God has for them. God could be using you to show them something.

Prov. 4

I like what my bible says at the title Securtiy in Wisdom! how true is that!
I need to put myself aside and listen to Gods Word and what He has for me. Think Gods way and I wont fall. The verse that really spoke to me was 23 Keep your heart with all diligence For out of it springs the issues of life. I thought wow, so if my heart is set on death, drama, negitivity, love, or whatever those will be the issues i face. I could have bad issues or good issues. I have realize that many times things will happen at work such as gossip, rumors, a decision needed to be made, stress, and i handle it different then others (sometime), But i am asked how can you handle it like that. And i think well cause i have God. Now i know that when my heart is set on God then my thinking is too!! Which is a big plus!! I hope that made sense.

Prov. 5

So i had to read this a couple times to get what it was saying. I feel bad saying that but it is true. I don't know if i was being distracted or what. But as i read it again and again this what i saw.
Stay away from evil, don't get caught up in immoral doing, God knows, He sees all. Follow Gods instructions keep his wisdom. You are only hurting God and heading toward death when you turn from Gods way.

My first Chicken!

Today I thought I would cook dinner. So after work I went around the grocery store and looked around. I found a Whole Fresh Young Chicken. I thought to my self how fun would this be!! Well I took the Chicken home and looked for some recipes to bake a Young Chicken and well to my surprise I didn’t find any in my new cook book or any where else; I was having trouble. So I just took some spices, veggies, butter, and made what you see in the picture! It was totally awesome. Now the one thing I did wrong was cook it up side down, I thought that was pretty funny. But hey it still turned out!! WOO HOO!!! I am not that bad after all. And if you wanted to know people think I can’t cook or I don’t like to, well let me tell you I love to cook, bake, grill, and all the above!!

California Vacation

I went on a pleasant vacation with a good friend of mine to California. We had such a great time.

The first day we spent our time in L.A. we went on a star tour which was pretty cool. I was thinking you know these houses could just be any ones how do we know they are who they say they are. But you know i really didn't care it was fun! I saw Simon Cowell that was cool he even waved. I was going to sing for him but well he ran...j/k he was talking to someone.

Well the trip gets a little more interesting when we went to Six Flags. The roller coasters were the bomb!! Meaning AWESOME!! X2 was the scariest, awesomest ride ever. Check it out on Youtube then you will know what I mean, can’t really describe it. So after all that fun my camera, credit, debit, and license was taken from me. I was pretty bummed, I searched everywhere, filed a report with Six Flags and nothing. I was able to cancel everything so no unwanted charges were on my cards Thank you Jesus!

That was a quick snap of my vacation. It was very fun and relaxing. I really tried to look pass the fact my items were taken. It worked, because well it was just stuff.

Maker

God is such a beautiful maker!!! The ocean is amazing!! The mountains, trees, animals, and the beach all so beautiful!! Thanks God for making them all! You ROCK!!

Vacation!!

I am on Vacation!! It is so nice and exciting!! The coast is the bomb!! And the best thing is that my Sister who lives so far away will be joining us tomorrow!! WHOOP WHOOP!!

SUMMER TIME!!!

I love SUMMER!!! So much to do so little time!!

It is going to be a blast this summer!! We are planning several fun outings with the church and the youth!! I totally can not wait for Passion '09 the youth are going to have so much fun and most of all be touched by God!!
