Proverbs 20

Vs. 13 stuck out to me. I believe sleep is refereing to sleeping spirit. And we should not let our spirit sleep. If we love to "sleep" then we fall into poverty meaning heading toward death, not happy, not blessed. But if you open your eyes and let your Spirit reign then you will have life!

I really like vs. 17, I actually chuckled when i read it. Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, But afterward his mouth is will be filled with gravel. Meaning to me that those whose trick, are decietful they might enjoy it at frist but it will bite then in the butt!

VS. 18 way important to seek God and godly counsel before making any big decisions.

Vs. 20 You better OBEY and HONOR your parents

Vs. 22 It's all in Gods hands, trust Him,He will Punish the ones who need it

Proverbs 19

Chapter 19

Vs.5 It's nice to read that to know those who are a false witness and speak lies will not go unpunshed. It's in Gods hands he will take care of it. I dont' need to try and get back at them or whatever. It's not my place, my place is to pray for them.

I think vs. 8 is telling us that when we have wisdom we are happy with are selfs, we will find good. We will be right where we need to be; and still growing; cause you never stop growing.

vs. 11 The discrection of a man makes him slow to anger, and his glory is to overlook a trandgression.that is a good verse. Im always saying to not focuse on your troubles because God has it under control.

Proverbs 18

Chapter 18

Vs.1 We need to be active with other people. God wants us to share, and love others we cant do this if we isolate ourselves. you are being shelfish if you do this. in my opinion

vs.2 WOW. a fool had no delight in understanding, but expressing their own heart. What self-fishness, not cool. I do not want to be like that.

I love vs. 10 The name fo the Lord is a strong tower, The righteous run to it and are safe. I Great to know that God is are pillar of streagth all we have to do is run to it, how easy.

vs. 13 make me think you need to listen before you do anything, don't answer until you know what you are answering to.

vs. 21 it is so true death and life are in the power of the tongue. Speak life and there is life, speak death and there is death. Speak of God and His perspective on everything! Because there is life in Him!

Proverbs 17

vs. 14 powerful, Strife is so bad you don't want it to start, becasue it is just like water once it starts to flow there is no stopping it.

I like Vs. 17 that friends are there to love you, but a brother/sister is there for you in troubled times.

vs.20 that is so true i believe that. you will not find any good with a deceitful heart, and if you have a bad month you fall into evil. It is so important to live righteous, to not be a fool, to take correction if needed. There is so much evil that wants to get a hold of you and it will if you do not become wise in God.

Proverbs 16

Chapter 16

vs.3 COMMIT your workd to the Lord and your Thoughts will be established. How great! If God has my everything He will help me with my thoughts. And to me your thoughts are everything. think on Good things and you will be doing good. Dwell on bad and well your are not going to be so happy.

Vs.7 So cool! He makes your enemies at peace with you! How awesome is that!

It is so important we give are everything to God. In my thoughts it's easy, give our lives to God, gain His wisdom and understanding, live righteous and bam you are right where you need to be!

Proverbs 15

More reminders about being slow to wrath. In verses 1 and 18. A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. 18 A wrathful man stirs up strife, But he who is slow to anger allays contention.

God is telling us something here!! Listen up everyone!! Be slow to anger! Rich in Love! That is other scripture in the Bible. I believe we need to take this to heart! LOVE LOVE LOVE!! You are only making it hard on you and the other person when you respond in anger/wrath/hatered. Respond slowly, with love, let God be the center of the situation.

I think when He say Slow to wrath. meaning STOP Listen to God what you should say, do from this point on. It is okay to get angry but not in a harsh words or physical, violent way.

Proverbs 14

This is what i recieved from Prov 14

Vs. 16- A wise man fears and departs from evil, But a fool rages and is self confident. Meaning to me that if you are around negativity, evilness, something that will not help with your walk with God but try and bring you away need to depart from it. A fool with justify there actions and think that they are a big shot and do whatever.

Vs.23 How good is this! A reminder to stop that gossiping, to stop talking about nothing, stay away from the drama, rumors, and lies. When we talk just to talk it will get you in trouble. I work with several people like this, and it is sometimes difficult not to get caught up in the chatter. This only leads to death, it only leads to people not wanting to be around you, trust you.

Vs. 29 Slow to wrath has great understanding. Be slow to anger, be clam don't just reacted respond.
